Chris was born in Denver, CO and raised in Michigan where he got a degree in Economics from the University of Michigan.  After college, Chris worked as a management consultant living and working in New York, Chicago, and a suburb of Minneapolis.  Chris traveled extensively for work, both domestically and internationally, until he retired from consulting in 2014 and joined a Paid-on-Call fire department in Victoria, MN where he rose to the rank of Assistant Chief.  Chris and his wife relocated to the Olympic Peninsula in 2021 where he joined Fire District 3 as a Volunteer FF/EMT and was hired as the Volunteer Training Coordinator in 2024. In his free time, Chris enjoys hiking and traveling with his wife, upland hunting and fishing with his friends and pretending he knows how to fix cars on his own.
