Course Description: Fire District 3 provides a combined CPR and AED course designed specifically for laypeople. This course is an excellent choice for both community and workplace settings for the purpose of preparing citizens to deal with someone who is in cardiac arrest or choking. The course is designed for individuals who are occupationally required to, or desire to know how to perform CPR. Examples include: workplace emergency response teams, school bus drivers, adult residential care personnel, child care workers, teachers, parents, babysitters, etc. The three-hour course, developed by the American Safety and Health Institute (ASHI), is based on the American Heart Association CPR guidelines. Upon completion, students obtain CPR certification valid for two-years.
Registration: Registration and payment of the $10.00 course fee must be made in advance either online or in person during business hours, 8 am - 5 pm Monday-Friday at the District's headquarters station, located at 323 N. 5th Ave, Sequim.

Cancellation: Registration fees are non-refundable. Advance cancellation notice of at least 48 hours is required in order to be eligible for rescheduling a future class.
