There are certainly far more questions than answers right now regarding the Corona Virus. As the community navigates through this period of uncertainty, the Fire District will do its best to communicate with the citizens. We always strive to provide accurate and informative information and will continue doing so as it becomes available. Our commitment to serving the citizens is our foremost priority. Rest assured that we are taking steps to protect our emergency responders in order to maintain our ability to respond to the needs of our community.
For non-emergency needs, the public can call 2-1-1 or the new direct line to Clallam County at 1(833)492-0834. Both numbers are ringing to the same location. The public can be connected to many essential resources through that line such as food, shelter, transportation, health care services, and more. We are asking the public to please keep the 9-1-1 lines free for emergencies so that we can respond quickly when seconds can make the difference between life and death.
