Fire District 3 provides a combined CPR and AED course designed specifically for laypeople. This course is an excellent choice for both community and workplace settings. Course material is based on the 2010 International Consensus on Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC) Science with Treatment Recommendations (CoSTR) and other evidence-based treatment recommendations. This is an American Heart Association course that provides the same level certification as AHA HeartSaver.
This course is intended for individuals who do not work in the healthcare field but are occupationally required to, or desire to, have CPR knowledge and skills, such as: Emergency response teams in business and industry, School bus drivers, Adult residential care personnel, Child care workers, Teachers, Parents, Babysitters, etc.
Participants will receive a CPR card good for a 2 year certification.
Payment and registration must be made in advance either online or in person during business hours, 8 am - 4:30 pm Monday-Thursday at the District's headquarters station, located at 863-C Carlsborg Road, Sequim.
Cancellation: Registration fees are non-refundable. Advance cancellation notice of at least 48 hours is required in order to be eligible for rescheduling a future class.
